    For some reason whenever I make my bow, the bonuses are always infinity. For example, if the bow is Godly then it'll be +infinity Critical Strike Chance, + infinity damage, etc

    Hi everyone!

    For those of you that know me, I was a top contributor to the wiki, and had a fairly constant presence in terms of being active in the modding community. Unfortunately, I have been rather busy with life since March, so I haven't been able to really do much around here, and being a little burnt out from Terraria didn't really help things.

    So, am I back? Maybe, maybe not. We'll see. I would like to get back into the modding scene, however. As always, feel free to leave a message on my page, and I'll try and help to the best of my ability.     Some help needed

    So, I wanted to make an item that does this: As soon as you put it on, you get a buff. The buff lasts forever. Until you take off the item, that is. So, I've already made it a little like that. But, the buff has a time limit. Someone suggested making the time limit incredibly high, but, when I did this, the compiler said it was too high. xD So, how can I make it so the buff has no time limit? Just lasts until you take the item off? I'm pretty sure this is possible, 'cause of the Neptune's shell but I'm not entirely sure. If anyone could help me, I'd be very greatful. :D

    Game progression design concepts:
    1. Hard spawns- in order to create a new spawn point , you need wood, silk, and iron. Moving any one of those resources away from the spawn creates a travel challenge.
    example: desert island start
    2. Progression alternatives- not knowing what the next step will be encourages exploration and adaptation.
    3. Chokepoints-
    i. No corruption. No corruption means no shadows orbs, no meteorites, no demonite.
    a. Alternate low-level boss that must be found. Killing a boss summons dryad, allow purchase of corruption powder.
    b. Cthulu cult. Cult has a church. Killing the cult (or aiding them?) creates the corruption. bonus for lore and world-building
